The works selected demonstrate the diversity of technique and content applied to the paper medium over the course of the past fifty years and how the notion of ‘drawing’ is being expanded and revitalized.
Drawings from the South of America shows the versatility of such a common medium and the originality of the works thus conceived. With different themes and styles juxtaposed throughout the gallery, the exhibition aims to highlight the transformation, tumult and originality of modern and contemporary Latin America.
